May Allah (swt) increase us in our Iman (faith) and in our good deeds. The first night of Ramadan is Wednesday, September 12. The first day of fasting is September 13. MSA will be holding 'Ishaa' prayers on campus followed by optional night prayers at 8:45 PM in 39 and 41 Evans. |

Each year the Cal MSA provides Iftar for students on campus. Most students live far from home, and this is one of the main ways students feel the spirit of Ramadan away from home. We ask for your generous donations to sustain the drive. Without your support the MSA would be unable to offer this valuable service.
The Prophet (S) said: "Whoever gives someone something to break the fast with, he would have the same blessings as the fasting person and this would not reduce the blessings of the fasting person in any way." [Ahmad and Tirmidhee]
